History Was Made 96 Years Ago Today - Congresswoman Jeannette Rankin

96 years ago today, Jeannette Rankin was elected as the first woman to serve in Congress. Rankin was elected before women even had the right to vote. She served as a Republican from Montana, saying "I may be the first woman member of Congress but I won't be the last." Learn more about her here.
