Black Rev. Says "Send those Blacks back to the plantation!"

"One of the things that I would do is take all black people back to the South and put them on the plantation so they would understand the ethic of working. I'm going to put them all on the plantation. They need a good hard education on what it is to work."

No, these are not the words of a klansman but of Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson. He is an uber-conservative Black Republican.  [We're not saying there is anything wrong with being a Black Republican but there IS DEFINITELY a problem with calling for Blacks to be put on plantations to teach them work ethic.]

Peterson is currently in charge of the Tea Party of South Central Los Angeles, an organization he created to "free" Blacks from the "mental plantation of the Democratic Party".

These words were his response to Newt Gingrich's comments that poor Black children lack role models to teach them a work ethic. Peterson claims to have worked in the fields as a youngster and thus, reports that he has a strong work ethic.

Peterson says that, "People don't want to hear the truth." He continued saying about Black women that, "Many black women have had babies out of wedlock and passed that on to their daughters that if they have babies out of wedlock, they'll get food stamps, free houses and your rent paid."

Peterson considers himself a truth-teller to ignorant Blacks.

"When you tell them the truth first, they become upset...They think if you're black and conservative, you're an Uncle Tom. Once you let them yell and scream and carry on -- because they will carry on -- and when they calm down, they understand."

Thank you for enlightening us, Reverend.
